Driving Directions to our Brookwood Office

Please follow the directions below that appropriate for you travel into or through Birmingham. Once you are on campus you will want to park in the Patient Parking deck on Brookwood Medical Center Drive and follow the yellow signage to the Women's Medical Plaza.

From US 31: Travel north on US 31 through Vestavia Hills. Exit at Brookwood Medical Center Drive; bear right at the end of the exit ramp. The hospital will be immediately on your left, and the visitor parking deck will be on your right.

From US 280: Travel west on US 280, 2.8 miles past I-459. Exit at Alabama Highway 149, Shades Creek Parkway. Turn left on Shades Creek Parkway. Travel approximately one-half mile and turn left at the Shell gas station onto Brookwood Boulevard. Continue up the hill up Brookwood Boulevard, at the four-way stop, turn right onto Brookwood Medical Center Drive. The hospital will be immediately on your right, and the visitor parking deck will be on your left.

From the Red Mountain Expressway: Traveling south, continue over Red Mountain and follow US 31 South through Homewood. Exit at Brookwood Medical Center Drive, turning left at the end of the exit ramp. After crossing over US 31, the hospital will be immediately on your left, and the visitor parking deck will be on your right.

From I-65: Traveling North or South, take Exit 255 and turn East onto AL-149/Lakeshore Drive.  This will be a left turn if coming from the North, a right turn if coming from the south.  Continue approximately 2 miles and turn south (right) onto Hwy 31.  Start up the hill and take your first exit and then turn left onto Brookwood Medical Center Drive.  The Women’s Medical Plaza will be on your left and parking will be on your right.  Follow the yellow signage the Women’s Medical Plaza.
